You Never Know...

You never know how one moment can change your day or life. Case in point, three weeks ago and my little minivan incident. Sometimes, meeting one person can change your life or at the least, your day. This would be what happened yesterday afternoon:

Enjoying The Son and His Sun!

It just so happens that the sun came out today! Since my accident I have been craving the warmth of the sun on my bones. So when my girls got home from volunteering at one of our local rest homes with their grandparents, I loaded them up and headed to the park. We picked one that we rarely go to and enjoyed some wonderful sunshine straight from the Son! He knew just what I needed! It sure felt good to sit there relaxing while my girlies got some vitamin D and exercised by running all over like crazy kids!

Small World....Prayer Request

This girl was part of our Sunday School for many years when she was younger, please pray that she will be found safe!

Healing, Slowly but Surely!

So thankful for how the Lord is gradually healing my body, mind and soul. It's been an interesting past two plus weeks, that I think have really helped me to grow as a person.

My body is healing slowly but good. Have some pain still in my left knee and chest. With my knee, it's more pressure than movement. So if I bump it or kneel on it, you can guarantee that you will hear a squeal out of me! The pain in my chest is from the airbag going off but there is no pain to touch, it is actually in my muscles. So when I sleep on my side too long or move my body or arms in certain directions, I have some pulling pain. Compared to the intense pain I was in the first week and a half, this is nothing. This week, hubby and I are going to start taking small easy walks and see how my knee does. I have had pain in my knees since I was a little girl and I don't want this added injury make my knee try doing anything funny.

The Lord is helping me sleep better at night. Thanks to the prayers of family and friends! I have not had nightmares of the accident in a couple nights now and that is a relief not to wake up to that. I feel so much more rested from that alone.

Spiritually, I am just soaking in the time with Him. He has opened my eyes to things I needed to take care of as well as just being my All in All.

God is so good!
