Hiding Place...

Every parent "tries" to have one, it rarely happens! Like the bathroom, even those five minutes of "thinking" are rarely alone.
The past several days we have been working on our back and side yard. My chest is improving and I am able to do more within reason. Plus, this sunshine has been begging for some yard improvement. One thing on the list was to clear out this space alongside our house where we have been sticking yard debris. I have been hoping for a quiet place to rest in the heat of the day. I have envisioned it in this spot for eight years now. I got it cleared out, although it took me about two days, since I have to go slower than I used to.
Thanks to hubby, I now have flowers in this lovely cleared out spot! He took me to a local nursery and picked me up a bunch of flowers for Mother's Day. Some for my shady spot and some for the front full-sun box garden.

Oh, and the piece of quiet I was hoping for, was quickly replaced by the pitter patter of lil feet. My kiddos discovered just how nice, cool and shady my new spot was! Ah well, too much quiet is abnormal!
