Today....it's about this blog...
If you follow my blog to any extent, you might have noticed, that my last blog post of any significance was back in June after my six week post op appointment. I have had some Scripture posts, Blast From The Crazy Past posts and guest posts from my daughters....but nothing about me or what has been happening in our home.
So where have I been?
Well.....in one word: recovering. In more than one word: being crazy busy in a family of eight over the summer! Here is a glimpse of what has happened over the summer, in no particular order:
- Our annual Campmeeting...
- Family reunion at the beach...
- Court for our foster son...
- Traveling for appointments for foster son...
- Doctor appointments for all the kiddos...
- Being the babysitting manager for my girls...(shouldn't I get a percentage??)
- Running my kiddos to their various summer trips and activities...
- School change for one kiddo, getting back in the groove for the other kiddos...
Honestly, the list goes on and on! I promise the very, very few followers I have here that I will be getting back in the groove of blogging. I really did need the break of summer, it was so crazy. However, that being said, I know the few people who follow me really enjoy hearing the updates on our family since many of you live some distance away.
Another change: I no longer do social networking such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+ or Instagram. If you would like to share my posts on any of these social networks, that would completely fine. I just no longer have the time for any of them.
