Blast From The Crazy Past: The Sweetness of Children (9-11)

Welcome to memories...my memories....welcome to a Blast from my Crazy Past!

September 11th....chances are...
you remember everything about that day...

I wrote this post in 2007...

September 11th, has never been far from our families minds. Like most people, we remember where we were, what we were doing etc. Even Mac who was only 2 years old remembers where we lived and what happened in the day.
Today, after we did our Pledge of Allegiance, I told the girls that we were going to have a moment of silence for the men and women who died. I explained what a moment of silence was and then we all bowed our heads and prayed silently for the families. In a quiet voice, I hear my three-year old speak up and say "Dear Jesus, pwease remember those peoples who families died in that cwash"
My heart clenched in me as I realized my child felt empathy for people she had never met. She was not even alive when it happened. I pray that she will always remain this sweet and caring to others!
The little one in this post would have been Miss Sierra and she still continues to be an empathetic person!

~Remembering 9-11~

Have a blessed day and embrace the craziness in your life!
