Family Fridays: The Family Table

 

Dear Family and Friends, 

Have you ever longed for something so long and hard that 

you weren't quite sure it would ever happen? 

That would be the story behind this table and our family. 

Several years ago we outgrew the table that our friends, Bruce and Myrna, gave us. 

We enjoyed it for many years.

We literally wore it to the ground.

So for the next couple years, we ate in shifts or some people would stand or kneel at the table.

I hoped with all my heart that someday we would have a table that would 

fit our ever-growing family plus some.

This past summer, our dream came true.

A dear friend that I count as an extra maternal person in my life gave us the 

opportunity to buy her table and chairs from her. 

What makes it extra special is that it was picked by her hubby several years ago 

before he passed away. 

So it's like having a piece of their family with us always!

So, thank you Nana Gail and Papa Brian for making us part of your family all these years!
