This post comes from my daughter, Sis, who wanted to share her memories of Christmas with Grandma Barb before they moved. Enjoy!
I remember the old traditions that we used to do every Christmas with Grandma Barb:
First, we girls would go over and spend the night.
Before bed, we would set up the Christmas Town. Soon we were in the guest bedroom asleep.
Then we would wake up the next morning to a wonderful breakfast.
After that, we would frost and decorate cookies, and then eat eggy-salad sandwiches for lunch.
The rest of the afternoon consisted of: playing in the back yard, playing with grandma's toys, drinking sparkling cider and watching Christmas movies on her TV. But mostly playing!
Those are some of my greatest memories.
Sadly they decided to travel the world. Although I was sad when they left, it was cool to talk about their travels when we did see them.
Now they live a little further away but we will get to make new memories.
I am very thankful for these memories!
