Blast From The Crazy Past: Ode To Our Christmas Tree...

Back in the day....before we realized I was deathly allergic to Christmas trees, or rather the spores that start growing on them once you cut them, we used to have a tradition of going and getting a real, live Christmas tree...in 2008, I looked out my sliding glass door and apparently felt sorry for our tree.....

What does a Christmas Tree think? As I look outside, I see our Christmas tree still in its stand. It is standing proudly. The needles have hardly fallen off it, which lead me to believe that it is still at least partially alive. Is it sad? Does it feel like it is "drowning" from lack of roots to give it nutrition? Does it look at our house and wonder why it got "kicked out" to the back patio? Who knows? I have to say that I feel a mite sad to see my little friend sitting out there with no grass at its feet and no presents on its branches!
(Our "fake" tree we had to get after finding out I was allergic to the spores
on trees. We still have it several years later!)

Till next time...

Have a blessed day and embrace the craziness in your life!
