Tuesday Tidings: Hospital Visit

Tuesday's Tidings Are Brought By:
Sierra

Three or four years ago, I had to go to the hospital...

 We were at campmeeting,
and I think it was the second week of camp.
I was in pain and had the symptoms of appendicitus.
The pain was growing, and soon I wouldn't let my mom touch my stomach.
That was the last straw, soon mom and dad decided to take me to the hospital.

I had to have my blood taken, and then we had a long wait.
I was starting to feel better...
But then I found out it still hurt when the doctor checked for pain.

My night got worse when I found out I had to get an IV.
I turned to my mom and started to cry, I said "I don't want another shot!"
Then mom started singing, and I stopped crying!
I felt the pain, but I didn't turn my eyes from my singing mother.
I turned my head and the nurse was tapping it on, it was over.
I felt a funny sensation when they started pumping the water, I could feel it!
The nurse said I hadn't been drinking enough water, FYI I'm not a huge water fan.

Soon the doctor came back and wanted me to get a cat scan.
They took me to the cat scan room, and injected something that made me feel like I wet myself!
(I didn't.)
A machine voice told me to close my eyes and hold my
breath for 20 seconds, and boy was that hard!
Turns out I didn't have appendicitus!
I know God healed me, and I'm so thankful for the prayers of loved
ones who were worried about me! I'm alive and healthy thanks to God.
I'm also thankful for my dad and moms help and love through the hole thing!

I Hope You Enjoyed My Blog Post!
