Tonight is Shelby's birthday party. We have been preparing all day.
From going to the store to purchase wrapping paper, party dress, and other party items,
to baking the cake and decorating it, to decorating the house.
It has been a flurry of activity all day!
Shelby helped me make the cake and she pretty much decorated it herself.
She did a really good job! We didn't have enough frosting so daddy
had to make some of his famous buttercream frosting that is SO good!
She has been wandering around the house with these lit-up eyes saying,
"Mommy, I'm so bick-cited." "Mommy, I'm SO bick-cited!!"
I am not sure what that combination word is,
although I think it is a combination of "I'm gonna be excited" and "I am excited"!
Sigh.....I love my kids.
No one could have prepared me for the magic of watching a child's...
