Bragging on God!

Last Sunday my 7yo gave her heart to the Lord. She was kneeling at the altar after children's church. Her older sister saw that she looked upset and asked her if she wanted to ask Jesus into her heart. With tears in her eyes, she said yes and they prayed!!!

Tonight, she came up to me with tears in her eyes and said, "Mommy, once when I was sleeping in your room, I took some M&M's from a bag." I hugged her tight and told her how happy I was that she listened to God's voice when He asked her to make it right. She said, "I just kept remembering it over and over and over again till I had to tell you!" She said it was when she was six, so a LONG time ago, but she couldn't forget it! All this week she has been coming up and telling us about things that she thinks she has done wrong or asking if such-and-such is wrong.

God is so good! I realize that she is still a kid and will make kid mistakes, but there is a difference in my 7yo that can only be explained by God. He definitely made a change in her heart and there is no denying it. Gone is the defiance, the anger and the stubborness. It is replaced with a sensitive heart, one that wants to please God and to know more about Him. She has been asking so many questions that it just makes me grin to see her so hungry to know Him!

I pray that God will give us wisdom as we raise these little ones for Him!
