Blast From The Crazy Past: Choking...

This post was originally written in the early 2000's:

I am a VERY anti-hard candy person. Not because it is candy necessarily, but because of the choking hazard no matter what your age is.

Well, just praising the Lord right now. I was sitting here at the computer and Jordyn came in grabbing her throat with a wide eyed look, I immediently jumped up and started the heimlech on her. Three quick ones, and out popped a hard candy. Scared the life out of her. Scared the life out of me after it was over.

Just stood there holding her and saying, "Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus!"

I think she understands now why mommy doesn't like hard candies........

Thanking the Lord that I am not the type of mom to freak out, that I stay calm until the crisis is over and THEN freak out! There was no time for freaking out today!

Isn't God good? So thankful for His protecting hand that day! How has He worked for you recently?
