Monday Madness: Cubby Organization

What's On My Mind Today:

Organization.

It's the end of the year and people find themselves wanting to get

more organized at the beginning of the year.

I wanted to share a couple pictures of what we did in our house this past spring:

Our home is very old and SMALL. There are not a lot of options for storage...of anything.

To try and battle having stuff lying around, we had several dressers in our living room

to hold homeschooling stuff, books, etc...

I wanted to reclaim my very small living room and get rid of any and all dressers.

Plus, I had been downsizing our stuff and we just didn't need as much storage space.

So Peter went to the store and bought several of these cubbies, assembled them and bolted them together and to the wall to creat a wall of cubbies.

I loved it!

But...

New problem: my sweet children were now randomy sticking things on whatever shelf they felt like.

THAT....was going to drive me batty fast!

So we went to another store and I was happy to discover that these bins were half off!

So we set it up...then...

Because I really do want my family to find where things go and put them in that spot...

I laminated little labels and attached them to the baskets.

Ta-Da!
