Throwback Thursday: 2007's Christmas Update

Dear Friends and Family,
It is so much fun for me to look back and see what was happening years ago. This post happened exactly 12 years ago in 2007 and it's amazing to think of all that has happened since these girls were so tiny. Enjoy!

Family Friday: A Very Berry Advent

Dear Friends and Family,

On December 10th, I shared what our family does for Advent and that it is a special time for our family. Today I ran across a youtube video about why one foster/adoptive family chooses to do Advent. They have a fantastic website about fostering and adoption that you can find at Confessions of an Adoptive Family. You won't regret going and checking it out. But before you do, here is their video, they teamed up with Great Big Story and Ikea:

Have a wonderful First Day of Winter today!
Merry Christmas,
Heidi

Christmas Memory or Tradition

Bells!!

By Shelby

My mom went to the store,
and when she was there
she found some beard bells!
She insisted that my
dad wear them...
Of course, he said no
but...
My mom made him wear them!
Since she was putting them on him
she could not take pictures,
 I took a few pics.
Here they are...
for your entertainment,
and mine.
 He looks very disgusted!
No one can help but laugh.
even him.

The End.
