Welcome to the Midweek Minute
Where I talk about the here and now...
I can't believe it's almost here!!!
Today Peter and I went to two pre-op appointments for me, which is another thing to cross off the list for surgery. The last medical thing will be to get my blood drawn on Friday. Then it's just packing my bag and doing the pre-op showers at home before surgery!
I am one of those people that LOVES to do Spring and Fall cleaning. I got hooked on it when we were first married because we have always lived in small houses. So as our family grew and the space to store things got smaller, we NEED to do clean-outs a couple times a year.
However....I feel like I have been nesting for the past couple weeks. The girls have been so sweetly helping me with the many spring cleaning projects I usually tackle this time of year that I have not had the energy to do.
My energy level has been pretty much zilch the last couple weeks. The female issues I have been dealing with for the past 5 months have only got worse as time has marched on MINUS the crippling back pain I talked about last week. That is completly gone, Praise the Lord!
May I please brag on my hubby for a moment or two? Honestly, I feel that when it comes to husbands, I have the best of the best. A couple weeks ago I mentioned to him that I could hardly reach my toenails to trim them. (The reason? Because of my female issues, I basically have the stomach of someone in their second trimester of pregnancy.) So Peter said he wanted me to go get a spa medicure, but I told him that I don't like going by myself. I haven't gone since my sweet mother-in-law moved because she was the one I always went with. My sweet mister said he would go with me and get a pedi too! I have proof, check it out:
It was SO relaxing and enjoyable to hang out with my hubby all morning. He went to my two doctors' appointments with me, got pedis together and then we had lunch.
I pray that you are all enjoying your week and that God is blessing you immensely!
If you have a moment, please remember one of Tony's teachers. She was going in for a preoperative appointment for surgery on her knee and they discovered that she has acute leukemia. Much prayers appreciated as we love her dearly and she has been one of the best resources for Tony and his special needs in the past 3 years.
Till next time...
Have a blessed day and embrace the craziness in your life!
