Nose Surgery???

Several years ago I was having some pretty bad sinus issues. I thought I was having sinus infections over and over again. I finally got into an ENT.

What I found out was that during an allergy attack, my sinuses would swell up causing difficulty in breathing and congestion. The bleeding wasn't from an infection though. Rather, my sinuses would swell and push on a bone spur in my nose. The Dr said that at one point in my life I must have broken my nose thus causing the spur.

So, because I like breathing on a regular basis and I don't see my allergies going away any time soon, we scheduled surgery.

That was not fun to heal from! I thought I couldn't breath before? I spent the next couple weeks having tubes shoved up my nose and then when they took those out, my nose would just clog up with...um...nasty junk that I was not allowed to blow out! I couldn't blow my nose AT ALL.

Needless to say, I was sure happy when they gave the all clear to start gently blowing my nose!

So, yes....I have had "a nose job" and I bet I paid a lot less for it than those who do it for beauty's sake alone!!!
