Let's Feed This Mob!

What does it take to feed a family of nine?

A whole lot! This was my grocery haul for today. I go shopping every two weeks and then just pick up a gallon of milk or whatever when it's needed in between. Every month though, I do what I call a "big shopping". It's usually a bigger shopping trip as there are more odd ball things to get along with groceries like pet food and household goods. That's what happened today. 

I was up from 3am for...whatever reason. The babies were sleeping peacefully, so that wasn't it! Don't tell, but I think I have finally reached that magical age of not being able to have caffeine after a certain time! 

By time the babies were back in bed from their 4:30 am feeding, I decided I may as well get up and go grocery shopping. I got my 15 year old up since she had wanted to help out with the shopping today and we hit the road! 

First stop was the mandatory Dutch Bros/Payday caffeine boost then off to conquer the stores!

Two hours later, we pulled up in front of the house, grabbed extra hands and started unloading! As Peter said, while taking groceries in, "Feeding this family is like feeding a small army!"
